Welcome

Although many of our struggles can feel deeply isolating, healing and self-understanding often emerge through the presence of another person willing to listen with care and attention. We may never fully resolve the complexities of our lives, relationships, losses, or inner conflicts, but we can learn to approach them with greater awareness, compassion, and honesty.

I offer a space where grief, relationship struggles, attachment wounds, trauma, addiction recovery, life transitions, and questions of meaning can be explored without judgment. A place where longings can be acknowledged, emotional patterns better understood, and the deeper themes shaping one’s life given thoughtful attention.

Together we may explore family dynamics, recurring relational patterns, inner conflicts, dreams, identity, and the emotional realities that often remain unspoken beneath the surface of daily life. In a fast-paced world that often pulls us away from ourselves, this work invites reflection, emotional clarity, connection, and deeper self-understanding.

My approach is grounded in trauma-informed care, chaplaincy training, psychological insight, and meaning-centered support, while remaining open and welcoming to people from all backgrounds and belief systems.

Hi there, I’m glad you’re here.

My name is Jacob Jett, MDiv, BCC, and I provide compassionate, trauma-informed care and supportive counseling for individuals and couples navigating grief, relationship struggles, attachment wounds, trauma, addiction recovery, life transitions, and life’s deeper questions.

Many of the experiences that shape us most deeply are not always visible from the outside. While we readily recognize grief after death or major loss, there are many quieter forms of loss that also leave an imprint—the ending of a relationship, distance from family, unmet longings, changes in identity, disconnection from ourselves, or the gradual realization that life has not unfolded as we once imagined.

The experiences we do not tend to with attention and care can quietly shape the way we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us. Together we can explore emotional patterns, relationship dynamics, attachment wounds, unresolved grief, inner conflicts, and the personal narratives that continue to influence your life.

I offer support for:

  • grief and loss

  • relationship and attachment struggles

  • couples at a crossroads

  • trauma-informed emotional support

  • addiction and recovery support

  • identity exploration and life transitions

  • reconnecting with meaning, purpose, and the deeper parts of the self

In a fast-paced world that often pulls us away from reflection and emotional presence, I offer deep listening, thoughtful dialogue, and a space where your experience can be explored with care rather than rushed toward resolution. Healing is not about becoming someone else, but about developing a deeper relationship with who you already are.

My Story

Loss entered my life early and shaped the way I understand connection, meaning, and change. Over time, it became a doorway into a deeper inquiry: how we survive grief, how we make sense of it, and how we continue living while carrying it. That path first led me into hospice volunteering in my early twenties, where I discovered the profound intimacy of accompanying people through illness, death, and bereavement. What began as service gradually became a vocation.

For more than 14 years, I have worked professionally in emotional, spiritual, and grief support roles within hospice, mental health, and recovery-oriented settings. Alongside individual support, I facilitate groups exploring attachment wounds, mindfulness, dreamwork, grief, spirituality, and psychological healing. I also teach meditation and contemplative practices that help people reconnect with themselves during times of uncertainty, transition, and loss.

My work is rooted in deep listening, trauma-informed care, and the belief that healing often begins when people feel safe enough to bring their full emotional experience into the room. Drawing from my graduate training in counseling-centered spiritual care, as well as years of interdisciplinary collaboration alongside therapists and behavioral health professionals, I offer a compassionate and grounded space for reflection, meaning-making, and emotional support.
